Cabinets

Most commercially-available cabinets are made using particleboard, which emits high levels of formaldehyde that is detrimental to interior air quality. Even high-quality custom cabinets typically use interior plywood that contains urea-formaldehyde glue and it releases significant amounts of formaldehyde into the air. We chose to have our cabinets made from locally-harvested maple hardwood and GreenT plywood that uses an environmentally-friendly adhesive with very low emissions. Our friend Jack made all the cabinets to our specifications.
